1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us: typically your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, business name, and service offerings. When processing payments, data is handled securely by Paystack; Langa does not store your full card details. We also collect automated usage data to improve your experience.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to power the Langa platform: facilitating bookings, calculating your revenue analytics, and most importantly, triggering the WhatsApp automated alerts that run your business. We also use this info to communicate service updates and ensure our platform remains secure.

3. Data Sharing & Security

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as necessary to provide the service (e.g., with Supabase for data storage, Twilio for WhatsApp delivery, and Paystack for payments). All third-party providers are compliant with data protection standards.

4. WhatsApp Communications

By using Langa you and your clients consent to receiving automated WhatsApp messages specifically related to booking confirmations, reminders, and cancellations. These messages are the core of the Service. Standard data rates relative to your mobile provider may apply.

5. Your Rights (POPIA)

We implement industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) and Row-Level Security (RLS) on our databases. We retain your data for the duration of your active subscription. If you choose to leave Langa you can request a full data deletion as per your POPIA rights.
