Terms of Service
The agreement between your business and Langa
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Langa ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Langa is a platform designed and operated by Summit88, South Africa.
2. The Service
Langa provides a WhatsApp-integrated booking and payment management system. We facilitate the connection between Business Owners and their Clients. We are a platform provider and do not provide the actual professional services (e.g., haircuts, consulting, etc.) booked through the system.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
Standard usage is billed at R299/month, or R2,990/annually. We offer a 3-day free trial for new users. Subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable after the trial period ends. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard.
4. SummitPay & Transaction Fees
If you enable automated payments via SummitPay (powered by Paystack), a flat platform fee of 4% is applied to each transaction. This fee covers all Paystack gateway costs and our automation infrastructure. For manual EFT or cash payments recorded in the system, no platform fee is charged.
5. Business Owner Conduct
As a Business Owner, you are responsible for the accuracy of your pricing, available slots, and service descriptions. You are also responsible for managing your own client relationships, refunds, and cancellations. Any disputes regarding services provided must be resolved directly with your clients.
6. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Langa relies on secure OTP and Row-Level Security to protect your data, but you must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your business dashboard.
7. Limitation of Liability
Langa is provided on an "as-is" basis. While we strive for 100% uptime for our WhatsApp automation, we cannot be held liable for business interruptions caused by third-party outages (e.g., Meta/WhatsApp, Paystack, or hosting providers). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Summit88 shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of revenue.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
9. Future Updates
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service or legislation. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or an announcement in your dashboard.
